2021 Fall Plenary Session - Hybrid Event

Event Dates
Deadline to Register/Application Deadline

The Academic Senate invites you to attend the first-ever hybrid 2021 Fall Plenary Session on November 4-6, 2021 to be held at the Westin Long Beach in Long Beach, and via Pathable! The theme this year is "Leading Change" Teaching, Learning, and Governance in a Hybrid World". Join us this November to attend impactful breakout sessions, discuss statewide matters, vote on important Resolutions, and network both virtually and in-person with faculty across our system. In-person registration is $580 and virtual registration is $325.

Registration for in-person attendance is now open to all that wish to attend! While we are still capping in-person attendance to 150, to maintain social distancing guidelines, we welcome colleges that would like to send multiple attendees in-person to do so. Register as soon as possible for either in-person or virtual!

COVID Precautions - Please complete the COVID liability waiver here!

ASCCC is a responsible partner, committed to prioritizing the health and safety of our members, attendees and staff. For your safety and the safety of others, we will be asking all in-person participants to sign our COVID Waiver, attesting to having received a vaccine or taking a COVID test with a negative result 72 hours prior to the plenary. All Plenary Session participants and staff are required to be fully masked throughout the event regardless of vaccination status, except for when actively eating. Dining arrangements have also been made such that no more than four people will be seated at a table to maintain social distance and meals will be served buffet style by hotel personnel to minimize touching.

In order to limit touching shared objects, the plenary will provide individual packets at registration with your name badge, program, resources, as well as hand sanitizers for you to use as you meet and mingle with other attendees. Masks will also be available for attendees at the registration table.

As travel and gathering guidance evolves, ASCCC will continue to follow protocols established by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as well as local, state and federal government mandates and recommendations. Please check back for updates as they become available.

More details, such as the tentative agenda and breakout session topics for both the in-person and virtual options, to come so stay tuned!
