Whereas the quality of administration affects every student served by a college, and it is essential to have knowledge of administrative performance to improve and sustain effective and quality administration, and
Whereas AB 1725 clearly states that faculty are to be included in the evaluation of the performance of educational administrators, and
Whereas no guidelines or instruments are readily available for developing and collecting this faculty input,
Resolved that the Academic Senate develop recommended guidelines and models for collecting and synthesizing faculty input on administrative performance, and
Resolved that the Academic Senate make such guidelines and models available to local academic senates.
