The primary purpose of the Faculty Caucus is to bring together faculty who are united by a specific interest in noncredit academic and professional matters. The intent of the caucus shall be to:
- Support noncredit practitioners in the field;
- Facilitate timely and accurate noncredit information;
- Encourage more active participation in state-wide and local noncredit matters;
- Facilitate cooperation and collaboration among noncredit faculty and between noncredit and credit faculty;
- Enable open discussions on noncredit instructional/programmatic best practices and governance issues;
- Increase awareness of noncredit faculty and student issues at all levels; and
- Assist in identifying faculty leaders in noncredit.
