Whereas a college's educational master plan should drive its budgeting and facilities decisions, and
Whereas the local senates have either the primary or mutual responsibility for developing their college's educational master plan,
Resolved that the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges encourage local senates to accept their legal responsibilities in developing and monitoring their college's educational plan, and
Resolved that the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges provide local senates a model for developing an educational plan, and
Resolved that the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges encourage local senates to verify that recommendations for their college's facilities and technology development be driven by their college's existing educational plan.
