Vocational Education Caucus

The purpose of the Vocational Education Caucus of the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges (ASCCC) is to support and improve vocational educational programs across the state. The Caucus seeks to promote dialogue and collaboration among vocational faculty across the state both collectively and through outreach to particular vocational area faculty such as public safety, construction, transporation, health fields, and others. The Caucus also strives to inform and advise the Academic Senate as well as other organizations about the needs and issues faced by vocational students and faculty. Members of the Caucus plan to work with the ASCCC to identify and disseminate best practices for setting, maintaining, and advancing high quality, high demand vocational programs.
